I’ve been playing it, and the campaign is nowhere near these review scores in my head. Firefight is fun as all hell, but I would give this game a 7.5-8. Sorry, the Halo name doesn’t qualify instant greatness for me.

@jkoz thats because no reviewing person would dare mark it less without the risk of millions of halo and xbox fanboys burning effigys of the reviewer and going after their skalp.

but I disagree it and all reviews over the 9/10.
In my opinion, HALO 3 ODST is only a good game and
I would have given 8.5/10:
- Graphics 7.5
- Sound 9
- Gameplay 9.5
- Story 8.5

Who didn’t organise the mass ‘happy pill’ order, for reviewers? Not a single 10 yet, it’s as if it’s not Halo or something.

It was never going to get many (if any) 10s because of the whole “full priced expansion” controversy.

I know… But it still look pretty god damn awesome to me.

I love the interface. Very Dead Space/Mirrors Edge.

Like awesome enoguh to avoi happy-pills too.

Wow.. That NowGamer one was completely and unecessarily scathing.

Trekking in games can be fucking awesome, and this is clearly for the Halo auteur who love the universe that they can partially exist in.

That and a gloomy setting are creative choices that should not be questioned.

Game reviewers are just such fucking bullshit these days. Are film reviews also such obvious opinion i-want-to-be-the-creative-vision-behind-this flagellation’s?

Althoguh I guess, I would just disagree wiht any review, since I’d also be pissed if it were 10 I reckon.

…and there’s that expansion pack thing again. Biggest mistake MS / Bungie ever made was announcing it as an expansion before deciding to throw more content into it.

Psycho, but it’s not a mistake that will affect sales or revenues. People will still buy this in bucketloads, regardless of whether some reviewers think it is an expensive expansion or not. It’s Halo, just as MGS4 is MGS and GT5 is GT.

I see Edge has given it a 9. That almost guarantess a 7 for Uncharted 2. Only joking. Well, mostly joking.
