New video – GTA 4: The Ballad of Gay Tony

Thursday, 17th September 2009 19:05 GMT By Stephany Nunneley

Rockstar has released a new video for The Ballad of Gay Tony.

It’s basically a comedy sketch of sorts, what with it being a fake news report – which is part of a television bit appearing in the new DLC.

“A Weazel News Special Report: Guns in Liberty City”

In this Weazel news exclusive, Weazel’s crack team of investigative reporters and former lobbyists cut through the filter of the mainstream media to find the paranoia behind the truth to a recent string of attacks in Liberty City, which has forced the LCPD into an escalating arms race. Our Weazel News expert demonstrates these fearsome new weapons including sticky bombs, advanced sniper rifles, automatic shotguns and exploding bullets; while recently discovered footage from a Liberty City tourist appears to show a rocket-equipped military grade helicopter known only as ‘The Buzzard’ wreaking havoc in Liberty City airspace.

Fun stuff there.

CVG has the video. Go watch.

I don’t mean to sound like a sour puss but has the DLC for GTA4 diminish the overall name brand excitement of the GTA series. I remember when we all got excited about just seeing a half of a pic about Vice City or San Andreas. Now it just feels so meh and overrated.

You can blame Rockstar and journalists for that. They massively overhyped GTAIV and the backlash was significant.

I agree that the DLC is very meh. However I do think the full game was worthy of the hype and praise.

No, it really wasn’t. And it really isn’t a perfect ten. 9 maybe, though I would have given it an 8.

Still my daughter loved the game and downloaded the dlc for it and is enjoying it.
So I dont see any harm in having the extra content for a game you like.
I would have a problem if the game was short and you were paying essentially to get a decent length game.

@Dr.Ghettoblaster: The DLC is better than the game.

    I agree with reask
Though personally still haven’t got round to playing more than an hour of single-player GTAIV yet

@Psychotext: In your opinion. I’d respectfully disagree.
