Nintendo launching "Connection Ambassador Promotion" in Europe

wii

Nintendo wants people in Europe to become ambassadors via a new promotion.

Called the Connection Ambassador Promotion, starting in October, if help out another Wii owner in establishing an online connection, you and your pal will both get 500 Wii Points (five Nintendo dollars). Do this for 20 and you can net 10,000 points (100 Nintendo bucks).

Also, once you have helped out 10 users, you'll achieve "gold status" and should you get twenty connections you'll have attained "platinum status" which means you'll get all first- and third-party NES, SNES and N64 games for free.

Not a bad idea should you take the time to do it and know 20 people with a Wii in their home.

Thanks, Joystiq.
