Modern Warfare 2 250Gb 360 special edition – unveil video and hardware movie

I knew that the minute I bought my 120 Gig HD for my 360 that at 250 Gig would show up. Microsoft is claiming that the 250 Gig won’t be for sale and is only a special Hard Drive for this 360…LIES I SCREAM…LIES…I know we will see the new 250 GIG HD this winter because PS3 is coming out with a 250 Gig Model…That really Grinds my Gears!

I don’t understand why the focus on hardware manufactures Sony and Microsoft, seems to be so heavily placed on Upgrading existing models while maintaning high price points. And honestly I think Sony is going in the right direction. New upgraded model, for less cash.
In my opinion, I say MS/Sony/Nintendo should all be looking for ways to lower the price point. I believe that there should be less then three models per platform. Do away with the arcade model completly. One 60gig and one 120gig xb360. That is it. And then if they want to, release harddrives and treat them as if they were old fashioned memory cards. Better yet allow gamers to conect external HDs. But of course they won’t do that. But they will suffer if they keep the 400buck price point, regaurdless of what is in the box. I think Sony could make a run over the next 18 months, if I were MS I would counter that with the lowest possible price point on all xbox360 bundles.

PC gaming? No thanks. I will take the cheaper hardware, varity of game software, easy of setup/instilation/compatibilty, social networking, comfort of living room play, etc etc. the only way I am going to be even remotly interested in PC gaming is if/when cloud gaming takes off. Man nothing ruins a gaming conversation faster then some elitest goon touting a PC. Besides its about the games not the hardware running them. Again tho – that being said I do PC game(mmorogs esp), but I would rather play in my living room on my 42 inch hd tv holding a controler.

You go out and buy the elite and 2 weeks later this baby hops up.

I bought the 60gb 360 because of the HDD size and white color console. plus it came with a free wireless controller for $250. The other fact that it will become discontinued made me “Jump In” too.

I would hate to get stuck with an arcade model since its a gimped version. I didn’t want the Elite because its black. The 60gb represents the original 360 from launch and I’m a collector of original classic things (smiling with geekiness at my mint condition first issue of Spider-Man comic)

A COD branded 360 is no more reliable than a Halo branded one. “Dude I’m so gonna get extra XP online for having a COD Xbox radical!”

M$ is so desperate to try and attach 3rd party games to their system because their 1st party devs are shit. And I know some of you want to shout out MGS4 PS3 special color. NO!, if this was a COD branded PS3 I’d call it stupid too.
M$ just has no dignity. At least the MGS4 one was exclusive as like the Halo3.
