PS3 Firmware 3.01 available now
Sony’s released a little PS3 Firmware update, taking its home software to 3.01.
This one’s for improving “stability” of certain games. Read “Uncharted”. Get downloading! It’s fun!

You can also download it from Playstation.com to your computer and transfer it via external, saves time. Granted I’ve been doing it this way for so long I am not sure if their promises of increased download speeds have been upped to make this process unnecessary. My upgrade to 3.0 was installed and usable in under 6 minutes with this method. Enjoy.

This supposedly fixes the issues with Uncharted, can’t confirm this just yet though other then with this link:
