LucasArts confirms Lucidity

Friday, 11th September 2009 07:10 GMT By Patrick Garratt

GamesTrailers has confirmed that Lucidity is a real LucasArts project – get more from BigDownload.

The game’s a cartoony, downloadable affair for PC and 360, featuring a girl called Sophie that moves of her own free will.

The title’s been rumoured for months. Now you know. It’s out in September, apparently.

    From the BigDownload article:
You are not actually controlling Sophie; she runs from point A to point B of her own free will. You have to make sure she gets to point B by solving puzzles that enable her to reach her destination.

LEMMINGS Lucas Arts Style??? Forget about it
Watched on Gametrailers…Uh…Nope big pass for me. No fun in a game where the character just walks on her own from one end of the level to the other, and you have to quickly put pre-built items in place, like stairs for her to walk up, or bombs to blow up things…THIS GAME IS A LEMMING…oh wait wasn’t there a game like this..Oh yeah..LEMMINGS!!! Oh Lucas Arts how original you are!!! All you did was shave off the cute green fur of a girl lemming and put a dress on it!!! It is still a lemming!! That really grinds my Gears!

    Everyone’s a cynic.

This is a nice idea, and it’s good to see LucasArts spreading their wings for once; the art-style alone is wondrous to look at.

    Looking forward to this.
