Kojima: Peace Walker and Rising teams are not “really good friends”

Apparently, the two teams working on Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker and Metal Gear Solid: Rising “are not really good friends”, according Hideo Kojima.
Speaking during GamesCom, Kojima told GamePro that the reason is because the Rising team has access to more money and higher-end technology and hardware specs.
“That’s the one reason why they are not good friends,” said Kojima. “If you could imagine the PSP team looking at the Rising team, they have all the money and specs. It’s interesting for me to see the team members act in this way.
“This was never before because it was always just one small team. Now we are much bigger.”
Interesting, eh?

I don’t actually have a clue, but would just guess that it would be more expensive to make a home console game than a handheld?

It’s unlikely, though tantalizingly plausible, that this could ignite in some way that would add hilarious layers to the Fanboy War.
C’mon, Konamoids! Don’ hate, appreciate!

Kojima will take this into account, MGS5 will be about how modern game developers created an online gaming economy that the world thrives on. It’ll involve gameplay where you as a game developer create the game that you’re playing yet similtaneously inside.
Kojima style mind fucking.
