IL-2 Sturmovik bagging good scores, releasing Friday
Looks as though the latest IL-2 Sturmovik, Birds of Prey, is no slouch. The air combat title, releasing on Friday in Europe, is keeping its head above 80 on MetaCritic and seems worthwhile of those soon-to-be heavily depleted notes in your pocket.
Round-up below. Got to be worth a waz, innit.

Thanks for the mention. I haven’t played the game myself but the guy who reviewed it thought it was great (as you can tell by the score).

I played the demo, seemed pretty good. I’ll likely get it, and when I get it I’ll likely play it on arcade mode because I suck.

Yeah seems a stick is recommended for simulation and realistic. I thought the EG review was a bit harsh for these reasons.

I think it was too harsh. Making the same assumption as many a publisher – that gamers are a bit thick and can’t handle some depth.
