The developers want to run both FFXI and FFXIV in parallel. They wanted to keep the pricing structure reasonable for FFXI players to subscribe to both. Considering that FFXI will still have more content when FFXIV launches, it wouldn't be unreasonable if the price remained the same or slightly less then the current cost of FFXI. I like the old logos better, they were subtle and connected with the game. FFVII had the meteor, VI had the Magitek vehicle, IV had a silhouetted image of Kain. The new one are enormous, they're bigger than the title. I know what they are, I’m saying they’re too big now.
