New Castlevania: Lords of Shadow trailer revealed
Konami released a new trailer for Castlevania: Lords of Shadow during GamesCom. Go catch it after the jump.
This is the “rebirth” of the franchise as Konami are proclaiming it, what with sticking Mercury Stream in development duties and Hideo Kojima overseeing it.
Needless to say, with Kojima and his studio overlooking the game, you really don’t want to fuck this up.
It’s out next year for PS3 and 360.

Looks legend that does. It’s obviously a bit of a GoW clone, but looks sweet as a nut anyway. ^_^ Lookin’ forward to it already.

I still say this game looks brilliant. Kojima may on be a superivisory position, but hell it looks great!
I do agree with Telepathic.Geometry though, it looks like a GoW clone. But, with Devil May Cry thrown in, a bit of Shadow of Collossus and the film Van Helsing, this game is going to be amazing and show what each console can do in 1080p. As we’ve learned, Kojima doesn’t half-ass things.

I want to get super excited about this one, but I’ll have to stand firm with the “believe it when I play it” on this one. Too many 3D castlevanias gone wrong in the past…but here’s hoping!
