Open beta for MAG kicks off September 17

Zipper Interactive has confirmed that the open beta for MAG will kick off on September 17: a full week before Tokyo Game Show.

Only recently has the beta begun in earnest with staff from SCEE trying the game earlier this month. It was only this week that SCEA sent out invites to people in the US, while SCEE Beta Trial Testers had only their recieved codes on Tuesday.

Andy Beaudoin of Zipper confirmed the news, adding : "On September 17, we will start an official public beta version"
