Amazon says PS3 slim shortages in the US are imminent

Online retailer Amazon has warned that due to the high demand for PS3 slim, the new limit for preorders in the US has gone from five per household to one per household.
No eBay for you!
The newly designed console has already climbed to the top of the Amazon game sales charts.
Better hurry if you want one right away folks. This may happen in the UK as well.

There’s not a lot to get P_C. Consoles sell out at launch… and I fully expect to see a bunch on ebay.

Who wants five per house?
If I’m planning to run GT5 in a triple-screen setup then I would need at least three (with 1 or 2 extra in case of breakdowns). So five seems reasonable.

Well this has worked for Nintendo in the past when they want to ensure demand for the Wii is high.

“Quick!” says Amazon. “But it now, now, NOW!
There might not be any left if you wait! O….M….G….PLEASE. BUY. ONE!”

don’t see the big deal. same non-backwards compatbile system with lotsa the same gaems 360 has aside from few exclusives on each console, just thinner now. Elite for the same price right? Good thing I’m not too interested in either ;D
