GamesCom: PSP Go to retail in the UK for £225
A SCEE rep has confirmed to VG247 that the PSP Go will retail in the UK for £224.99.
It comes as the platform holder gutted the price of the fat Playstation 3 tonight down to £249, while also sticking on the same price tag for the newly revealed PS3 Slim.
We see some special bundles coming for this and the PS3 Slim.

“cutted”. That’s a word, is it?
On topic: £225? Phew. And we all thought it was going to be ridiculously overpriced.

So a new handeld for 225, or a PS3 for 250….that works…

Way too expensive, but at least it isn’t MORE expensive than the PS3 Slim. That really would have been ridiculous.

But on the other hand, it’s cheaper than an iPhone, you get similar games and you don’t have people ringing you and bothering you with their boring lives.

Also similarly priced to the iPod Touch 16Gb (£214)

I think that sounds like a fair price. I think I’ll be laying down 225 fat ones when this is out over here. Stop moaning you lot. It’s jolly nice of Sony to make psp gos for us

Not as bad as the rumoured £249, but bad enough.
