ASDA drops PS3 80GB price to £249
ASDA’s confirmed that it’s dropped the price of the 80GB Playstation 3 in the UK down to £249.
The supermarket chain is offering the 80GB along with Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines on Blu-ray and Terminator Salvation: The Game as well as a choice of either Ghostbusters or inFamous.
A ASDA rep told GI that the offer would run until stock ran out.
Yip, the price-cut is getting more likely by the hour. Only four hours and thirty-four minutes left to go before the ‘tons start to drop.

Think that may have been a Asda Spokesperson as Sony haven’t confirmed the drop yet.
It is looking more likely though that a slim is on the way, or maybe not lol.
Gotta love all this speculation.

If its US $299 for a Slim, it could easily be £199 in the UK based on todays exchange rate.

Surely $299 in the US includes some sort of sales tax? ie equivalent or similar to VAT?
