Just out of curiosity, when was the last time you guys were at a LAN party?
Two weeks ago, and it’s incredibly more fun and interesting than playing over the internet.

Games tend to make gamers less and less socialized, and it’s a shame that things that allowed people to have direct contact (Split-screen multiplayer, LAN) aren’t trendy any more.

When was the last time I was at a LAN? Saturday.
I co-originize one. We run the Dutch Gaming Festival about every 6 months or so, usually around 50 PC gamers, with a dozen consoles gamers.
Getting bigger every time, up to the point where we have to turn people down if we don’t find a bigger space, wich is still affordable.
Red Alert 3 was popular this time round. We expected to be running SC2 next year, ofcourse that’s not gonna happen if It’s up to Blizzard.

And speaking to the visitors, they go to a number of parties each year.

That’s nice if you’re living the future. The rest of us live in the here and now, where people still play on LAN.
So unless you plan to delay the game until 2020, LAN mutliplayer will be sorely missed.
