Wolfenstein: Designer will pay for your copy should the game outsell Madden 10

Raven Software designer Manveer Heir has tweeted that if Wolfenstein outsells Madden 10 in August, he will personally reimburse you for your copy of Wolfenstein.

We saw this yesterday and honestly thought it was a joke.

Apparently, not.

Here’s the tweet:

Here’s the deal folks: if Wolfenstein outsells Madden 10 in August I will personally pay for your copy (keep your receipt) – SPREAD THE WORD

Here’s the clarification tweet:

And so everyone knows I’ll be using the NPD numbers to determine if we outsold Madden 10 – but anyone can be reimbursed worldwide.

Madden may be hard to beat in the US, honestly, but we suppose it’s worth a shot.

To get reimbursed, you must also follow him on Twitter, and it’s only valid for one copy.

Played the multiplayer beta, it’s no better than COD2.

    CoD2 is pretty good!

    The multiplayer, I mean.

Played it the other day and jumped straight into a game, so people are still playing it…

This is true. My point is for a game released near end of 2009, this is bad.

I just got the game.. looking forward to going home tonight and playing it ;)

…and then please tell us what you think….theres no review available yet eventhough it´s supposed to be released tomorrow?

I’d imagine the publisher wants to keep an embargo on this forever by the looks of it.
