What’s this, then? Lionhead just tweeted a new splash page for its website, which features an image of Che Guevara and the quote, “At the risk of seeming ridiculous, let me say that the true revolutionary is guided by a great feeling of love.”
“We just fancied putting it up there,” a rep on the phone just told us before clamming up so hard the universe nearly exploded.
Thumbs up and thumbs down symbols sit below the image. Click one. Hit the up thumb and you go through to a page named “followers”. Go for down and you land on “subjects”.
This may or may not be related to the Peter Molyneux announcement at GamesCom next week. Call us bluff old traditionalists, but we’re going for “may”.

New IP?
One that doesn’t use Natal?

At first glance it looked like Lionhead sticks Chespace on its site

Hopefully this won’t be a countdown to a ‘meh’ announcement like the Squenix’s Lord of Vermilion thing.
I’m pretty curious about it.
Blerk said:
‘Thumbs Up’ and ‘Thumbs Down’ are, of course, both Fable 2 gestures.

meh Lionhead hasn’t made any good video games just a bunch of crap with PM just swearing up and down its got everything in it… then you play and you realize its actually crap and PM should pick a new career…

It’s in black and white… And Revolutionaries, usually refer to a change in culture or such, for MANY people.
I don’t think it’s Fable 3, put it that way.

Not that I believe this is connected. But who owns the rights to Syndicate?
Johnny Cullen said:
EA.
I think.
Anders said:
EA, I suppose.
Edit: Syndicate seems taken, though.

Next week? Funnily enough someone, somewhere, slipped into a conversation that next week LH are annoucing Fable 3 for next year… And as Blerk said about the thumbs… very Fable.
No_PUDding said:
I bet it’s not Fable 3.

As for “follower” and “subjects” again, very Fable-esq. With a bit of Overlord… of which both have a “there’s similarities there” style of thing going on.
Easy to see that in Fable 3, given what was shown in “See the Future” for Fable 2, the world is under revolution…

Well, we got the Twitter-post by Jonathan Ross:
> “# Goodnight all. Must go to bed. Got asked to do voice in Fable 3 tonight. Subarashi. Oyasuminasia. Woss out.”

Ooh! Ooh! A Che game! I’ve always fancied blowing a 14 year old boy’s head off in a fit of rage. Now thanks to a game that lets you play as Che himself, I can!

I still bet it’s not Fable 3.

I still bet it’s Fable 3.
Lionhead are working on Milo and (let’s be honest) Fable, so how can it be any other title?
Maybe it’s a sequal to Milo – “Milo 2: The Revolutionary Years” where your good natured 10 year old virtual xbox friend goes through puberty and emerges as a bitter teenage anarchist intent on taking over your living room.

I still bet it’s not Fable 3 though.

Would like to see a new IP (or old IP resurrected) but would also be perfectly happy with more Fable as 1 and 2 were absolutely brilliant.

A Black & White iteration for consoles, maybe? My money’s on Fable 3.

No doubt Pete is gonna bust out some insane game that he’s gonna tout as the second coming. Then it will fail.
