John Riccitiello earned $6 million last year

johnriccitiello

Forbes has revealed the details of John Riccitiello’s personal financial package.

While not near as large as Kotick’s, it is still nothing to sneeze at.

The EA bossman earned $6,365,823 in salary, options and bonuses last year, poor fella.

Thanks, GoNintendo.

Kotick is still far more cuntish aswell. The cunt.

  3. Hunam said:

But he has a bigger money hat. Riccitiello is a hero to be honest.

I wish I could earn $6 million for sending a company down the pan

EA are hardly down the pan.

Riccitiello has done alot to improve EAin my eyes. He has made some mistakes, but he turned EA from my most hated publisher to not hating them near as much, thats a big accomplishment in my eyes. He has opened the door for original IP, rather than milk the sports lineups that the former CEO’s did.
Kotick is more like they were, and now I dislike activision the most.

    I think it’s a fair assessment…

    Profit:
    2009: -$1.09bn
    2008: -$0.45bn
    2007: +$0.08bn
    2006: +$0.24bn
    2005: +$0.50bn

    2009 isn’t done yet though!

  9. I agree with fear, Riccitello has turned around EA for the better, making new and original IP sexy again in EA’s eyes.

If you wanna look at it that way.

    Kotick’s a different story now.

  10. absolutezero said:

Yes ignore the heap of interesting new IP thats come out of EA recently and instead focus on how much money they’ve lost. Thats really whats important to video game fans is it not?

some people make way too much money. I’m so jealous.

  13. Isn’t it funny how our world works? The business guys are on millions while the guys with all the talent and creativity won’t even see one hundredth of that salary and will be first in the firing line when it comes to “making efficiency cuts” or “streamlining operations”. Never streamlining the bosses paycheque though, oh no.

@PT actually no the year end of 2009 is Q1 of 2010 Fiscal years of business is completely different then normal time. Thats why all Developers and publishers are pushing their games to 2010 to end their fiscal year with a bang.

    $0.00 in bonuses! He’s a hero!

Aside from the vast amount of money in stock and options. :-D

  16. Captain Fruitloop said:

The important thing is, though, that Riccitiello’s a lot scarier-looking than Kotick, whose smug “I’m a rich bastard, me” grin can never defeat the Riccitiello Gaze of Chill Menace.

  17. Phoenixblight said:

Dunno Kotick face reminds me of those smug kids in High school the ones where you just have to punch them in the face atleast once.
