If square-enix were smart, they’d release a FF7 remake for the ps3. That would net them tons of money.

You are right, it is odd. Who knows? It’s their loss if they don’t bring it to the West, that’s for sure.

I just find it odd that they’d even hesitate. I wonder if it has anything to do with it being a DS game? Is it a particularly big cart, more expensive to produce? And DS games generally don’t do nearly as well in the West.

Blerk, I seriously doubt it won’t be released at all in the West. Maybe it’s just a question on “when”.

After all, who would not want to capitalize on a “3.5 millions units sold” game? Unless they consider the expenses of localizing it a barrier, of course…
