Cnet‘s put live a video of a recent visit to Microsoft to go hands-on – or whatever – with Project Natal and it’s all after the jump.

You see Burnout Paradise in the video as well as Ricochet in there. Kudo Tsunoda, the creative director for the motion camera, talks you through it as well.

Go watch that video.

Likely that it’s prototype tech… you’d have people saying OMFG I’M NOT HAVING THAT 6×4 CARDBOARD BOX WITH WIRES EVERYWHERE ON MY TV!

(Either that or they got lazy and used the 3DV camera)

dude that ball game is gonna move units that will make wii sports cry like a bitch, look at it! Its so FUN looking I’m sure Gabe Newell will love playing that game :D

Also it was so obvious the guy in the back of the room was controlling Burnout Paradise with his computer mouse or something :P

And what the hell was that thing, a tranny?

“Prior to June 2003, Fried transitioned from male to female and changed her associated byline from “Ian Fried” to “Ina Fried.” ” So that makes her/him an ex-male =D
So ya she is a female, coming out from a male of course!!
Looks fun! But i kinda saw some form of lag between Ina *boy she looks freaky* and her hand twisting in burnout at the end…
2010 is still far away, hopefully we’ll see more from MS soon…
And mike, i was just curious cause i was lost…

Does it fucking *matter* if it was a guy, girl, transvestite, or even a goddamn frog? They’re still a bloody person.

Well, it’s good to know that ignorant, shallow, disgusting bigotry is as rampant as its always been.

Looks shit. Still a few years off though so I reckon they’ll iron it out.

Well, that was interesting… Kudo certainly looked awkward and put off a bit by mr/mrs. Firedman. In any case this seems like a very dated demo, it’s certainly not up to snuff with what was shown behind closed doors pre or post E3. Maybe this video is just that, an older demo, and that is why they blurred the 3D camera?

The lag is noticeable during both demos. I wasn’t expecting pin-point accuracy or anything, but that video shows pre-motion plus lag. With all the celebrities awe-struck with it, it should do well. However, as a camera, that lag is unavoidable and post motion-plus, I don’t know how it’ll be received commercially.

Yep I noticed the lag too. Particularly evident at about 1:50 to go on the timer. Wave hand … Avatar waves hand.

It’s still got a lot of nice advantages over the competition for the customer MS are targeting though. Lack of having to hold any sort of controller and lack of cost when adding more players are big plus points. Particularly when you factor in the cost of each extra wii-mote, nun-chuck and wmp.

As a gamer I’m still more intrigued with what will be possible with the Sony Wandildo.

Oh and why no demo of this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YDzXqK4fh-A :)
