No, not those classics. But come on, you can play those golden oldies on everything short of the Colecovision these days. So instead, the Wii’s getting Super Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back and Super Star Wars: Return of the Jedi “in the coming weeks.”

On top of that, “additional classic LucasArts games” are coming after the “coming weeks,” though no specifics were given.

Thanks, Shacknews.

It wasn’t an attack at the Wii at all, more than the Super Star Wars games aren’t special at all and Lucasarts keep pimping big surprises when all they are doing is not giving us what we bloody well want.

Thanks LucasArts, are games that have been playable for years on emulators really worth making a big song and dance about? What next, a countdown page for Temple of Doom on the NES?

@ Bulk Slash, agreed. but some people can’t even properly shut down Windows, not everyone knows how to use emulators and find roms.

It’d probably get mine, too. The Super Star Wars games… have not aged well, shall we say.
