GT PSP vs Real Life – Can you tell the difference?

gtpsp4

Here’s a little Monday afternoon puzzler for you: try to tell the difference between these real-life shots and bits of GT PSP art of the Corvette ZR1.

GTPlanet‘s posted a comparison between the two, using press kit images from both GT PSP and the car itself.

We’re stumped.

Thanks, Kotaku.

That’s a better headline J.C. keep up the good work man. You do make good articles.

Most of the “real” photographs are probably renders as well, but still, it looks nice.

I’m always amazed how sony gets extra power out of their consoles rather it be graphical or technical. Ex: GOW2,UC2,GTPSP.

The Bullshot detector just blew up in my hand.

I dont see the point of those renders, or comparing them to photos. It’s not even vaguely representative of what you will be seeing in-game.

They did not even originate from a PSP, unless the PSP is now capable of greater than 600 pixels wide resolution.

Turn 10 should learn a few tricks from Polyphony on how to make their bullshot appear less plastic and instead, realistic.

Bullshots, every single one of them. I think Sony have released about 3 genuine in-game screenshots for this game so far.

@Psycho

Nice one. They are good looking shots. Would still like to see some gameplay shots rather than Photo mode, but good looking all the same.

There’s really no need for stupid renders when these proper screenies can sell the game perfectly well.

Edit: Ooops, missed last shot which is in-game. Still looks perfectly acceptable for a handheld game.
