Sega: Sonic quality will “be fixed over time”
Sega reckons Sonic the Hedgehog is on the up. All you’ve got to do is wait for the little blue man’s return to the glory days.
“The quality is something that will be fixed over time,” SoA marketing man Sean Ratcliffe told IndustryGamers.
“It’s not something where you wake up one morning and say, ‘You know what, we’re going to improve our quality on this franchise,’ and it magically happens. A lot of hard work goes into striving for quality.”
Phew. We’d almost given up hope. Loads more through there.

Perhaps the first step would be to stop releasing Sonic games while you figure out what you’re doing wrong? Rather than continuing to churn out dross?

I thought so, although Sonic Rush Adventure (the sequel kinda missed the point by adding vaguely rpg-ish elements).
Look up some videos on Youtube, the first one is pretty ace.

With that kind of BS and attitude , it’s unlikely to get fixed for a long time .
So what’s the plan then release crap every year , and when finally they release a good one , during the last year of 360/ps3 consoles , they’ll go like “see ? we told you to be confident !!!” .
And the the vicious circle of crap start again once more because they wont be used yet to the next batch of consoles ?
Thank god the portable game section is more than fine meanwhile

there were brief moments of fun in Unleashed, the night levels completely killed the game though I thought.

Sonic Rush was fucking awesome and perhaps the only way to make a Sonic game not suck
