Halo 3: ODST trailer gives you a bit of background

Buck talks in the latest Halo 3: ODST video, chatting about his squad members, their equipment and their mission.

Shows some gameplay as well, after the break.

There’s loads of voice talent in the game, apparently, see if you can point them out. No cheating by visiting Joystiq for the answers either.

It’s out September 22.

Bloody hell, is Nolan North required for every game now? Him and Crispin Freeman voice 90% of all games these days.

He’s there, 27 – 31 seconds. Nolan that is. Crispin’s not in this game for once.

Two Halo games in a year for Nolan North.

    A record.

Anyone notice the snippets of the Halo: Reach trailer? I thought it was a nice touch :D

Hasn’t that Nolan geezer got a fairly big part in ODST? I’ve seen a lot of him.

Edit – Holy fucking woah: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nolan_North#Video_games

Uncharted was his biggest role really. His role in AC was pretty big but Uncharted was a character show case and he was a perfect fit for it really, too good perhaps, because it’s slightly jarring to hear him in other games, like PoP for instance where he plays a very similar character.

“# Wolverine and the X-Men as Cyclops, Pyro, Sebastian Shaw, Berzerker, Carl, Doctor, Dr. Brooks, Deadpool”

Geez, Marvel need some new blood :D
