Depeche Mode licensing shows up in Left 4 Dead 2

depechemode

It looks as though some band paraphernalia and music will be present in Left 4 Dead 2, starting with Depeche Mode

Chet Faliszek, co-lead and writer, says Valve contacted record labels and different bands for the game and Depeche Mode was one of the few who responded.

Faliszek explained that the band was very free with the use of its likeness, music, and merchandise in the game – but did not say whether the band itself would make an appearance or not.

Still, rather cool.

My brother’s obsessed with Depeche Mode.

Obsessed.

You should see his collection of 7 inch albums he’s got for them :D

My bet: someone looked up the spelling for “licensing” and made an erroneous paste at the end of the last paragraph.

LOL@ WZ….. no, just did not delete all the last sentence apparently. I should have left it now that I think about it, but it’s too late now.

Johnny – It sounds like your brother and I would get along very well. /loves Depeche!

I like them too, but not as much as my brother. He has every CD, every greatest hits, every vinyl ever made.

If it’s been released, chances are he has it :D

Unless I get to kill Depeche Mode in the game, I’m not interested.
