Report – Third Dead Space game planned
According to the Dead Space movie report from Variety this morning, a third Dead Space game is being planned.
It’s well known that Visceral is already working on a second title.
The news came as part of a story saying a director had been pinned for a film based on the IP.

Well, we know Dead Space 2 is in the works and Dead Space: Extraction.
Is this new news? Or was Dead Space 2 not confirmed?

they mean Extraction counts as the 2nd Dead space and the sequel will be the third of the series….

@Phoenix: We’ve SEEN how those sort of games sell on that platform, though. For that reason, I strongly doubt that you could count Extraction as the second game, because it’s being released so close to the first as this – but is not available on the original platforms…It seems more like an on-rails extended version of the promotional website for Dead Space, extrapolated in to becoming a full game.
When they announce Dead Space 2, then I’ll be all ears, with peaked interest, till then, they’re releasing an offshoot.

Brilliant news, Dead Space was my goty last year.
Absolutely loved it and scared the beejesus out of me (lights off, ss up loud)…lol!

By 2nd Deadspace I don’t mean sequel I mean 2nd as far as a the franchise because it is nothing as far as story as the first Dead Space.
