Star Wars: The Old Republic video shows off some voice acting

theoldrepublic89

The third Star Wars: The Old Republic Developer diary has been released and it shows some really spanking in-game voice acting and the early user interface which is used to create your moral choices.

It shows a bit of combat too.

We’ll be lucky if Star Wars: The Old Republic is comes out before 2011 as much work as BioWare’s putting into it, but at least it will be something to look forward to.

Can’t wait!! Just looks so massive and with the VO it has the potential to be the best MMO out atm.

For me this is the WoW killer. The game looks amazing. Full voice acting is like a dream come true. I don’t like to play much MMOs only because of the fukin’ amount of things I must read. Also if the interface is like this will be good. I like the Mass Effect type of wheel for choosing the lines.

Can’t forget the morality in the game making you become sith or jedi vs picking at the beginning what side you want to jump on.

It actually looks pretty naff, lets hope the graphics improve tenfold. Voice overs? Impressive? Remains to be seen but looking at the video, its just cut scenes with voices.
