I wouldn’t want it because Activision is charging too much for it.

Dream on at that price.
I’m paying 35.99 for the bog standard version with that Argos deal and still not that happy.

Why would you not want it?
Because there are no Night Vision Googles in it, but toys instead.
Be carefull people. What you will get are not Night Vision Googles. You will get a device that will let you see in the dark to up to 10 meters at best, and will only work because of the IR illuminator mounted on it.
Cheap Real Night Vision Googles cost 1000$. What you will get is something that will let you see like the night mode on your digital vidéo camera.
This thing will be sold (it has been confirmed by Activision), in countries like France where you need the autorisation to import war equipement in order to acquire head-mounted NVGs. So those things are NOT real Night Vision Googles.

Well, Activision seem to be very adept at getting people to pay more for games by including a piece of plastic.

See in absolute darkness up to 50 feet
That’s 15 meters. My figures weren’t too off.
@ LewieP : It’s not really a rippoff. This technology isn’t that cheap too. It’s just that it has nothing to do with real night vision googles (Soviet Gen1 Googles or US Gen2 Googles)
Let’s be more explicit. It won’t look like this (real night vision) :

It’s good enough for stealth dogging / cruising… and I think that’s all anyone here really cares about.

Yeah, I don’t think anyone was really expecting the latest military top spec stuff for £120…
But for that price I’d definitely say that it’s a good deal for a (sequel to my favourite FPS ever!) game, metal case, art book, DL code for XBLA COD1 and low spec night vision goggles to have loads of fun with.

They may be a “toy”, but it’s still a cool package for any collectors out there.

So, I am looking through the Internets for a good pair of night vision goggles (for wildlife watching purposes only, sorry TEA, Callum) and came across a post about perverts on The Daily Star which quotes our lovely Psychotext.

He’s famous! Why did no one bother to tell me – and almost two years later at that?
I am printing this Daily Star post, framing it, and hanging it in my office

Might as well bump it for the daytime crew… thought I’m fairly certain most people have seen it at this point.
I think VG247 may have even had a story on it.
