June NPD: Hardware show DS moving over 766K units

The June NPD numbers have been released and US hardware sales for the month came in at $1,697,000 instead of the projected $1,547,800.
Nintendo DS was the clear winner, moving 766,500 units, with Wii coming in second with 350,000 units.
- DS: 766,500
- Wii: 361,700
- 360: 240,600
- PS3: 164,700
- PSP: 163,500
- PS2: 152,700

Interesting. Is it just me, or does the Wii appear to be slowing more quickly than the other platforms?
And surely Sony can’t be happy with the PS3 only managing to match the PS2 for sales.

Or … PS2 is not that far off the 360 and they are not that far apart in price terms are they? That’s great for a 10 year old console no?
