Why does everyone assume the PS3 Slim will be cheaper than the Fat? Perhaps it will cost the same and start making Sony a profit on every unit sold.

It’s clearly fake. Unless Sony are using some strange tactic that involves selling their expensive new slim console in dodgy markets, that is.

Wouldn’t be surprised if they go with the existing price (temporarily) and cut the price of the old models to clear the stock.

@Gamoc: It’s not unusual for things to have “fallen off the back of a boat” and ended up on sale in the Philippines. They’re not exactly talking about an official distributor there.

At least it doesn’t look so horrible than in the leak pictures. It’s kinda weird that, if this is true, someone is enjoying PS3 slim in his house before the rest of the world even know it is or not real. It sounds to me like the son of this guy telling at school “the ps3slim is real, my daddy bought it the other day and I play it at home!” and no one believing him.

i have two ps3s the original 20 and 60gb. it would be nice to have a slim ps3 i could travel with easily. i want to install one of these in my pimped out element i just bought.
