VG247 podcast #1 – The Develop 2009 special
The Develop Conference takes place in Brighton, UK next week, so we thought we’d use it as an excuse to kick off our podcast. Listen to the first episode after the break.
We talk through what to expect from the show in terms of news, the developer names making the trip down south, and Martin’s plans to draw flaming cars driven by skeletons for our podcast art. He’s so excitable. Like a little rabbit.
We’re going to be putting these live every Friday from now on. We may even have guests in future. It’s a brave new world.

I like the artwork. Is that the view from within the news sphincter, looking out?

That’s how Martin views the site. It’s the news fist.

Ta. I’ll look at that now. We have to be careful with plug-ins for various reasons, but I’ll get mart to take a look.

I never realised how many popular industry blogs are UK based. Makes me kind-of happy to see that. I will also be at the Brighton conference (minus key notes, unfortunately) and am looking forward to it.

Somehow I expected you to sound more Welsh, Pat.

Having Pat’s booming voice in my headphones is the best thing that has happened to me all week.
This podcast will be awesome and the more times the word “Megaton” is mentioned the better, quite frankly.

Pat doesn’t sound very Welsh and it doesn’t sound like he moves his jaw, and Steph sounds like a recorded telephone sales call.
I like it!!!!

“A recorded telephone sales call” …. must have been all my years selling magazine subscriptions over the phone. /kidding
Hopefully the years I’ve spent trying to lose my southern accent paid off if I sound that dry and proper
/again kidding Pud *grin*

No one sounds good… Very few people sound good, and you chirping at me in surround sound Steph, was like I was butter, and you were a microwave (that’s on, but only at like 400watts).

Good Podcast guys, although if I had one criticism it would be that Stephany sounds quite a bit louder than Pat, so it was hard for me to find a correct sound volume in which she didn’t sound too loud and Pat wasn’t too quiet.

Also (third double post, a record no doubt) LittleBigPlanet PSP is not really anything to do with MediaMolecule, so don’t interview Kareem Attourney and Mark Healey on that.
LBPPSP is a Studio Cambridge game.
So PRESS for LBP2 (or something much better and cooler) information. Just next project stuff please.
