Tales of Vesperia PS3 demo dated for Japan

Tales of Vesperia lands on PS3 this fall, and looks rather cute.
Japan gets a demo for it on July 13.
It’s been out for Xbox 360 since last month.
Thanks, Kotaku.

The PS3 version is somewhat enhanced. Extra character, more story, full voice acting, etc.

Played the 360 demo a few days ago, and had no idea what the hell was going on or how to control it. Got into a big fight with a massive dog-thing and got slaughtered. Which was nice. Didn’t exactly inspire me to buy the game though.

The demo’s shit. You can’t just drop people into the middle of a Tales game and expect them to have any chance at all of figuring out the battle system. General opinion among the EG collective seems to be that this is one of the best RPGs of the generation so far. Although I can’t speak personally ‘cos I’ve not played it.

Yes, loki, but most everyone knows that already. Did not wish to be redundant.
