Looks great. Definitely a nod to the Mechwarrior 2 intro FMV, which I hope means they intend to bring back that classic gameplay and atmosphere of the early games.

This is great news & I loved the Mech games but to rain on the parade its stated in the article they haven’t actually found a publisher yet and pre-announcing such games without a deal can backfire (e.g Faith & 45)

Its also nice they have set in the classic Battletech universe pre-Clans as the whole thing went down the drain with the attempted reboots of the universe after the clans.
