As for the writers or filmmakers in them, of course they have no regrets. They finished the story, after all, as planned (and rather grandly I might add)! Why would they go back to make another game instead of starting on their Next Thing?

But as programmers, developers, and businessmen, of course they *do* have regrets. Putting out the sequel and expanding on your last effort ad infinitum are givens in the game industry. Fandom and money are not to be left on the table.</description>
