PSP Go CPU speed confused with USB data

Over the weekend, some people got het up at the prospect of PSP Go having a 480Mhz CPU. It doesn’t. The confusion arose from a figure taken from a stats page that, in fact, references something to do with the machine’s USB port.
That’s it. Get more detail from Engadget.

Sony should have kept their mouth shut on this and just carried on letting people believe it packed a more powerful CPU…even if people thought it was being underclocked.
They’ve just lost the bit of advantage they had for makin, sorry, fooling, people into buying a Go.
It just makes the price look all the more ridiculous. What Sony is thinking making you pay more for less functionaity with the same internal hardware?

Hold onto your butt for this answer, as I know it sounds wild… But perhaps they were thinking they’d, uh, make money?

Less media functional PSP with no upgraded CPU for more money.
Don’t really see the ignorance myself.
