Japanese hardware charts – tedium sets in
How can we make this interesting? We can’t. Some of these numbers have gone up and down a little since last week.
If you’ve got any ideas about how we can “pep” the weekly Japanese hardware figures up a bit, we’re all ears.
Data below from June 22-28.

- PSP – 26,789
- Wii – 21,790

Make a competition out of it. Anyone who guesses the exact numbers for the next week gets a cookie. Or you could Google Image Search the numbers and post the most interesting. The PS3 gets a rather nifty hat this week.

Having a link to an image that doesn’t work was quite exciting – a rollercoaster of emotions ranging from excitement, to hope, to disappointment.

Those figures are actually quite interesting in one sense – where’s the big sales spike for Wii with Wii Sports Resort? It’s had a bit of a lift, but probably not what Nintendo would have hoped for. When a game sells more than 350,000 copies, you’d expect more of a rise than a couple of thousand.
So there’s your angle for this week. Dancing girls next week though, obv.
