U-Wars takes the shooter genre underwater
U-Wars, a third-person tactical shooter that mostly takes place underwater, is currently in development from Russian developer BIART.
While this isn’t the first time underwater gameplay has been present in a game, a duck and cover system mechanic allows you to “hide” and shoot harpoons at your foe with the absence of gravity making it a bit tricky to pull off.
Currently without a publisher, it’s slated to land on PC, PSP and Xbox 360 in 2010.

Thats either a seperate game FOR PSP, or that’s a typo, and it’s actually for PS3.

It clearly isn’t becuase the ‘PSP’ logo is beside it.
How random is it they talk about next generation, but it’s on PSP… Weird.

I’m quite excited about this game because your playable character will wear a special combat suit that has thrusters/jetpack which will allow him to move faster underwater and also fly out of the water & attack enemies on land. Also you will be able to use robotic drones, harpoon guns, and other special high-tech equipment.

YEAH….I love Underwater Games…Remember AquaNox 1 and 2..Like Wing Commander Under water…Oh Now I want a Really Good Wing Commander Game on my 360 or PS3…Oh I made myself sad!
