Wolfenstein system specs released
Raven’s Wolfenstein update just got system requirements, courtesy of an id poster on the game’s boards.
And here they are. We’re still waiting for a solid date, but you should be playing this next month at the latest.
SOFTWARE REQUIREMENTS:
Microsoft(R) Windows(R) XP or Windows Vista(R) (Windows 95/98/ME/2000 are unsupported)
Microsoft DirectX(R) 9.0c (included & required for Windows XP & Vista)HARDWARE REQUIREMENTS:
CPU: Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 3.2 GHz or AMD Athlon(TM) 64 3400+ processor
RAM: 1GB RAM
Video Card: 256MB NVIDIA(R) Geforce(R) 6800 GT or ATI Radeon(TM) X800
Sound Card: 100% DirectX 9.0c compatible sound card
HDD Space: 8GB (Plus an additional 800MB for Windows swap file)
Media: 100% Microsoft Windows compatible DVD-ROM drive
Internet: Broadband connection and service required for multiplayer

loki You fail so much in your hate. You know that without the PC now you won’t play 2/3 of tha games that are now on the market.
The specs are good but this is id Tech 4 and it is old. Hope that the multyplayer will be so much fun like in the previous games.

I’m waiting for the reviews on this one. I really enjoyed RTCW, but I’m not liking the looks of all the supernatural stuff in this game. I wanna kill Nazis with realistic weapons.

As always, those minimum requirements are probably way above what you really need to play the game.
They pulled the same trick with games like Left 4 Dead, which you can play with a PC waaaay below the minimum requirements.

Yeah, right. Let’s see how an Xbox 360 or a PS3 handles ArmA 2 or S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Clear Sky.
By the way, continue playing with your 1280×720 upscaled game while Loosers get to play with a 1920×1200 resolution (meaning, with an image twice and a half more detailed).

guys u do know that loki is not going to read any of your posts, don’t u? and that’s because this is what he does, hit’n'run, or he will read them, but he won’t be able to understand any of them because of his low iq level. so, just leave him alone! i learned to do that some time ago. now i just laugh at his comments. that’s all.

Somehow there is less buzz about this as with RtCW, especially about the multiplayer.
That’s not a good sign…

because the expectations are stellar, and almost definitely going to crash
which is a shame. I myself have put like 3000 hours of gaming in RTCW MP and will not buy a sequel that’s nothing less than excellent
