Final Fantasy XIV MMO screens from E3 are gorgeous

Sony announced Final Fantasy XIV as a PlayStation 3 exclusive today.
It’s an MMO and will ship next year.
Screens for it are over on Edge, and it looks lovely. Of course all Final Fantasy games looks great.

WET still looking stylish and swordsy

WET has four new screens for the action shooter over on IGN.
It’s out this fall from Bethesda and AMM for PS3 and Xbox 360.

Screens for Fallout 3: Point Lookout show swamp dwellers

The forth expansion to Fallout 3 has been screened.
Point Lookout hasn’t been dated yet, but we do know that it’s a massive new swampland area filled with new quests and content.
Looks very bayouish and full of slack-jawed yokels.

Brink screens show Utopia gone wrong, waterlogged world
Brink was announced day before yesterday. It’s set in a future “Utopia gone wrong” scenario on the Ark.
Waterworld basically without Kevin Costner or webbed feet, really.
It’s out during Q1 2010, and screens for it can be found on IGN.

Guitar Hero: Van Halen shows up at E3

Finally after loads of leaks, Activision has admitted that Guitar Hero: Van Halen exists.
No one ever said it didn’t really, just “no comment”.
Anyway, it’s posted after the break thanks to D’toid who filmed it from the show floor.
DJ Shadow’s music is in the background. Just so you know.

Assassin’s Creed 2 E3 video shows loads of cool things

During the Ubisoft event at E3, an Assassin’s Creed 2 trailer was shown.
It showed people dancing in Italy during a festival of sorts, all in masks with fireworks in the background.
We already told you all about it.

It has some nice looking gameplay in it.

The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks E3 video is rather cute

Nintendo has released the video for The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks that was shown at E3 today.
Yes, Zelda games are cute. Some are brilliant. Also, each one has a special place in someone’s heart.
This one will be no different. Now, where’s the new one for Wii?

The Witcher getting patched with five new adventures

CD Project Red plans to patch 1.5 for The Witcher Enhanced Edition.
It includes everything from the game, and five new adventures created by fans.
The CD check will also be removed with the patch, and henceforth be clean of that nasty DRM people hate so much.
A release date is to be announced soon.

Perfect Dark comfirmed for Xbox Live

Perfect Dark has been confirmed for XBL according to Major Nelson’s tweet.
“In the booth. Just saw Perfect Dark on XBLA running 1080p. It is coming to XBLA this winter. Free theme coming tomorrow!”

SingStar:Motown coming to PS2 and PS3 this year

Sony announced during it’s press event that SingStar: Motown will be coming to PS2 and PS3 this year.
You can see from the screen shots over on Eurogamer that Marvin Gaye, The Supremes and Stevie Wonder will be just some of the legendary artists included.
When we get a track list and release date we will let you know.

God of War III shots are flipping excellent

The video for God of War III was just flipping awesome from what we heard.
If the screens posted on Eurogamer are any indication of what me missed being at home, then it was a fun romp with our favorite Spartan.

No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle E3 trailer

The E3 trailer for No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle has been released.
NMH2 continues the tale of punk anti-hero Travis Touchdown, who finds himself at the bottom of the United Assassins Association rankings and must wage war to become the No. 1 assassin once again.
Ubisoft is to publish it, and it’s out for Wii in early 2010.
