The Uncharted 2 live chat is ongoing with Naughty Dog, and Evan Wells just stated that fans can expect another demo to land soon.
“Yes, we’re going to have another multiplayer demo before the game hits shelves. The exact timing isn’t finalized yet, but it should be available to an even wider group this time, so if you missed the last one I don’t think you’ll have any problem getting in this one.”
Good news then for the rest of us.

From what I played, bar a couple of minor bugs, it really is a solid multiplayer.

1. The first was a beta and the second is a demo ( of course theres no real difference these days )
2. The demo news isnt new at all. It was listed on gamestop.com for over a month now that when you preorder you get an access code for the demo.
3. The timinig is already set. I dont know why they playing clueless but gamestop lists the date for it: 8/19/2009 to 9/27/2009. And that date is set for over a month too.
