Ugh, Resistance is such an underrated gem.

It’s like Ratchet And Clank, but scary, and that my friend is fucking awesome. And some interesting characters that got ditched in the sequel for testosterone guzzling american frat-boy-come-soldiers.

I got Motorstorm and Resistance bundled in with my PS3. Really expected to love Motorstorm and find Resistance a big arse. As it turned out, I thought Motorstorm was crap and Resistance was above average at best but saved by having co-op campaign play.

Motorstorm Pacific Rift is bloody great, though!

nope, ms:pr should have never cost $60 out of the gate. it was an improved game built on the same engine so dev cost shouldn’t have been that much more expensive. The game should have cost $40-$50 at most.

Well, LBP is an impressive level editor and not-so-impressive platformer, and Heavenly Sword really is shite. MotorStorm is ace, though.

Gears of War is different in that it actually had a marketing budget.

That is the only thing.

Microsoft and Nintendo have agressive ad campaigns while Sony kind of prances aroudn the outskirts of good marketing.
