The first screens of Serious Sam HD, the XBLA remake of Croteam’s FPS, are up on EG.

There’s only one way this is going. And that’s the way of awesome.

It’s out later this summer.

I absolutely loved the first game – the split screen mode was an incredible addition. Deathmatches with trampolines, knives and hippy-flower-blood were endlessly funny.

The second encounter didnt do so much for me and I never did check out the 2nd game proper.

looking forward to this though!

haha did the first have that? I’d have thought anything over 2 player co-op would remove any challenge at all :)

It scaled the number of enemies with the number of players. Got absolutely insane with more than 4.

Insane in the good way. I’ve only every playing it solo or with 7 other players, the rest just seems not right to me.
