Mark Jacobs leaves Mythic, Muzyka takes on new EA MMO/RPG group

Warhammer Online developer Mythic’s confirmed that well-known studio head Mark Jacobs has left his role.
EA has formed a new MMO and RPG division, to be headed by BioWare boss Ray Muzyka.
BioWare’s other co-founder, Greg Zeschuk, will become Group Creative Officer of the new division.
“We thank Mark for his contributions at Mythic and wish him the very best going forward,” said Mythic in a statement.
“Mark played a major part in the success of Mythic with his contribution as General Manager and Lead Designer of WAR.”

Call me crazy, but this sounds like further integration of mythic and bioware into EA as a whole… which is the old buy and devour tactic of EA old… am I getting the wrong gist here?

Its just for their MMO has nothing to do with Bioware console games.
EA has been doing a whole lot better these past years with games thanks to the new CEO.

This is true, but with the commanders of Bioware now just EA execs and the prolific studio head of mythic gone, just seems like they whole lot will just end up as a single EA banner.

I have lack of knowledge with Mythic other than Warhammer but I do know about Bioware and I don’t doubt the founders of that company to foul anything up.
