I played this on Atari 7800. First system was the Atari 2600 though (that was the name on the box #5). M e m o r i e s . . .

I’m old enough to remember it, but it’s the crappy 2600 version that I played first. Sega’s 1985 arcade version is definitive for me. That game rocked my socks.

Had this on C64 and played my neighbour’s VCS version ^_____^

Crummydore 64 ? We’re all about the spectrum. The C64 had superior sound, sprite handling, colours, a keyboard that actually worked etc etc etc. But the spectrum had a soul. It was made of grey rubber and installed by Sir Clive personally in each one.

It didn’t have a version of Choplifter, though.

Nope, and, in fairness, the c64 version of choplifter that my mate had was very good indeed.
