Matthews analyses May NPD till it bleeds

Figures, figures, figures. But what do they mean? The May NPD has been motherfucking tamed by Gamasutra’s Matt Mathews right here. Essential stuff.
It’s the business. Annotated graphs with transitioned grey backgrounds; a shift from the Dayglo colour theme to a sultry red and blue for the diagrams; spectacular use of the word “segment”: it’s got it all.
VG247 says 9/10. We’ll have a mark off for the lack of pie charts. Don’t miss it.

yup I was just talking about that, with people losing their jobs. It’s better to go jump on free to paly games on the pc. even buy cheaper games that is on the pc too. then there is the fact pc games will last you longer time than consoles

Yes, because it’ll take you six weeks just to install it and patch it up.

well facts are facts I sure alot of share holders and investors are looking into this and making a shift away from consoles as we speak.
people are going to be too please about osing their money in a recession.
you can bet there will be alot console game devs will either go bankuprt or lose their jobs. I am willing to be there will be another console game publisher to bankuprt too soon.

If all the console game publishers go bust, who’ll be left to actually publish PC games?
