Aliens: Colonial Marines bumped out of this year

Gearbox boss Randy Pitchford’s told Kotaku that Aliens: Colonial Marines is still in the works, but won’t happen this year.
It was supposed to hit 2009.
Everything went a little awry in the world of Aliens when Sega decided to can the RPG Obsidian was basing on the franchise in February.
But still. All’s well that ends well. Ish.

I don’t see it saying 2010 anywhere in the Kotaku link Pat; any idea where that’s from?
Ditto the screenshot here too – where the hell is that from??

You’re right. I’ve edited it. Sorry about that, could have sworn that’s what it said.
The screen’s one of the very first concept images they put out, iirc.

Gearbox are taking their sweet time with everything this gen aren’t they. I’d put the Brothers in Arms slip down to UE3 troubles but it’s getting to the stage where I believe it when it’s shipped with them of late.

I’m not at all surprised it’s delayed – we’ve seen precisely ‘bugger all’ of it aside from a few pre-rendered trailers and mocked up screenies.
