I’d like to think he did, but it was mostly for the PSP Go! Although, Shuhei Yoshida said how dissapointed he was the trailer leaked.

If Psp Go and the Trico footage hadn’t been leaked… I think those ‘Who won E3′ articles would have been different.

those ´leaks´ are marketing instruments…nothing more nothing less…sony is quite good at it…this statement is a solid proof of it…

He’s correct. People don’t respect confidentiality at all.

You can’t blame “Sony” the company for a leak. It *had* to have been leaked by a human being. There’s no way in hell that someone with access to that information from within Sony wouldn’t be under an non disclosure agreement.

Same for stuff like Duke Nukem footage and work being shown now. Those idividuals don’t own that work. It belongs to the holding company. That’s how it is. The owrk you produce for your employer is theirs, not yours. As such, those individuals have no right to publish it without authorisation.

Yes, to eager news-hungry gamers it’s all very exciting. But the fact remains that people are breaking contracts they’ve agreed to for the sake of 24 hours of internet glory.

If you’re under confidentiality contract (which most people will be in the games industry) then you should respect it. That’s what it means to be professional. And, I can assure you, you may be the best whizz-bang person at what you do in the indsutry. But if you can’t be trusted not to leak information then nobody is going to touch you with a barge pole.

Wasn’t the first thing that got leaked the Qore episode, wich came from inside Sony?

Sure, the rumorus had been flying for weeks, but those were just that: rumours, no concrete details. Sony messed that up themselfs.
