Assassin’s Creed has sold 8 million copies

Speaking to Joystiq at E3, Assassin’s Creed II producer Patrice Désilets has confirmed just how popular the original game actual was.
“We sold some eight million copies of it, you know,” he said.
Apparently the king of understatement, he added: “Some people really enjoyed and loved the game.”
Assassin’s Creed II looked very awesome at E3. Now you know why.

Your not wrong, that’s v impressive.
I loved the first even if it did get slightly repetitive. Maybe it’s an Ubi thing as FC2 did a similar thing (repetitve/small amount of mission types) yet I finished both 100%.

I bough the game for pc and was hard to play with key borad and mouse. I used a pc gaming pad and was over whemled by all the buttons. lol
my friend is borrowing the game from me right now.

I haven’t, but that the same with all games.
Buying games month after their release = huge savings.
