Borderlands shooting for October

Gearbox told Shacknews at E3 that definitely-not-cel-shaded shooter Borderlands is heading for an October release.

The game was looking great at the show, so this is good news, Ringo.

I’m very much indifferent towards this announcement. There is so little we’ve seen of this revamped game. If it’s to hit store shelves in October, I would think it would have gotten much more media coverage at E3.
