Nintendo “not worried at all” over Sony, and Microsoft controllers
Shigeru Miyamoto has told BBC that Nintendo is “not worried at all” by Sony and Microsoft’s new motion control peripherals.
Actually, the firm is flattered.
“The fact that both of those companies are looking at getting the gamer off the couch, taking advantage of motion control, and getting them to control the game by moving their body shows that they have looked at what we have done with Wii,” he said.
“And now they are moving in the same direction. To that end we are very flattered.”

… not only does the wiimote look dated now, but the prospect of finally being able to play these “waggle-games” in HD and not in shitty SD with poor last gen graphics will draw in a lot of folks.

Now that you fantards are being fed with a blatant “lets try to get some of them bloody money” ripoff which really screams how desperate these companies are, its all fine and dandy since it’s a “true next gen experience”. Look, everyone was laughing at the Wii when it came out and absolutely nobody could see them having this amount of success. If you state otherwise, you’re just lying.
I still think it’s a terrible idea and there is nothing wrong with standard game-controllers. Motion controllers don’t magically make games better.
What the Wii did, is draw in a new demographic which didn’t use electronic-entertainment devices before, that’s all.

You’re still a moron. Yes, I did laugh at the Wii, and I still do, specifically because of the ‘waggle’. That’s what it usually is – waggle, it’s not what was promised, now they’re charging extra to make it what it should’ve been anyway. MP promises to make me laugh at it less.
It is pretty damn obvious that both Natal and Sony’s wand controller are miles ahead of the Wiimote. If you’re laughing at people because they’re saying that it’s better than the Wii’s, when it clearly is, you’re just stupid. Natal and the Wand are MILES ahead of the Wii.
These are not rip-offs, they are obvious, glaring huge improvements.
